Don't we need to see each other for this to work?

From my experience reading other people's energy, no.

In the early days of understanding this ability, trying to figure out what I was seeing and how it works, I had a few experiments and theories I wanted to try out.

One of them was doing remote energy readings for people I don't know or who are in a different location than I am. The other was measuring the changes in the images from day to day.

I was able to attempt both through a friend of a friend. When I 'came out' to my corporate work place's circle of friends, they were all supportive. One friend knew someone else who practiced spirit and energy work, and I thought it would be an excellent opportunity to test out my new perceptive abilities.

Through my friend we communicated that I would do a reading for them the next day. My friend used social as the communication medium to the individual I was reading, and I used a separate texting app to communicate with my friend. This was how we shared details, I had no direct link to the person I was reading, and our conversation to each other was copy/pasted between two different texting formats by our mutual friend.

The only thing I knew at the time was her name was "T".

I first looked at T's energy and was curious how it would change between that day and the next. Would it be a drastic change? Would I recall if there were minor differences? What if it is a totally different image? Does that mean I'm subconsciously making up images and trying to fool myself? What if T had a traumatic emergency situation over the last day, would that change the images I saw? How would I know?

As with most worry fueled question sprees, none of that happened. The image remained the same after getting permission from T to fully ready her energy.

By way of describing the image I was able to accurately describe her mood, demeanor, and current relationship status, and recent history of events that lead to the current state of that relationship.

Being able to explain to a stranger intimate descriptions of their relationship and personality, only knowing she was a she and her name was T, was a key milestone in my journey.

I do wish I listened to her advice looking back. She expressed I needed to start doing this professionally in 2016, even dispelling some of my doubts I had then.

Another instance of remote reading happened in Oct 2020, except this was across the globe and with a non-English speaker. Through my corporate job I was able to work with a team in Romania, and even took a couple business trips to Europe to work with them in person.

Through this experience I made some new friends. I was contacted by a friend named "M" to do a reading for her friend. When I first met M I took a chance and shared with her my ability and asked to do a reading for her. A future blog will detail this experience in depth, but it was so impactful it changed her life for the better, so when her friend needed help she reached out to me to do a reading.

This time I was reading someone in Europe who didn't speak English, who didn't know me, and our only communication link was through our bilingual friend, M. For this reading I did watercolor. I'm always looking for other methods to communicate what I see instead of only using my sketches.

Reading a native Romania from Florida

I saw a white orb shining brightly being pulled down into dark waters. This orb had some sort of power source, something bright and wonderful and a very large force was pulling it down and wanting to consume it. This was the reason the friend of M wanted to contact me. She had also been active with spirit work and was interacting with new people. She didn't have many good feelings from these folks and wanted to get additional information from someone else. M asked if I would do a reading for her friend and got us connected. There were two key events from this reading, one, her friend's instincts were confirmed in my reading. These new people were likely trying to use her and she is at risk of being consumed. And two, no, you don't need to be in the same room with me to get a reading.

We don't need to know what each other look like, I don't need to know your full name, we don't even need to speak the same language.

What we do need is intention. If you are looking for me and I am looking for you and we both have the intention to connect with the purpose of sharing your energy, then it is an instant connection.

In a future blog post I'll elaborate on how I think this energy connection occurs. I believe it is a mix of understanding we are more than third dimensional beings, that our reality has more outputs of energy than we can readily sense with our 3D sense organs, and what I'm sensing is likely a form of Synesthesia. I feel the most reasonable explanation for this ability to read other people is I am picking up a form of energy that doesn't fall in the visible spectrum of light, or a vibration wave that can be sensed by my ears, or any other 3D sense organ can sense. But somehow, my consciousness is receiving this information and the best my brain can do to translate this information is generate colorful orbs for me to describe to you.
